In an open letter to Brazilian authorities, CIDSE joined concerns about shortcomings of the collective reparation process following the January 2019 dam collapse.

 

UPCOMING

#AccesstoJustice: 7 March

Join the relaunch of the CIDSE  "Access to Justice" campaign on social media which will include national actions in Austria.
CIDSE will also support  the UN Treaty international day of action on 23 March.

Launch of podcast series: 8 March

On International women's day, CIDSE will launch a new podcast series on feminism and agroecology, a joint project with the Centre for Agroecology, Water and Resilience of Coventry University.

Event on preventing and remedying negative impacts of corporate activities: 24 March

Faith leaders, Brazilian community representatives from Brumadinho and EU decision-makers will exchange on how recent policy initiatives can answer the call of people directly affected by corporate activities.

Photo competition and youth camp: April

The Change for the Planet - Care for the People Initiative will launch a photo competition on 22nd April and is organising an international youth camp in Casa Velha, Portugal for its network's young supporters from 27th April to 3rd May.
